La web oficial de la nueva adaptación a película de imagen real del manga Death Note de Tsugumi Ohba y Takeshi Obata, Death Note: Light up the NEW World, ha revelado que Tatsuya Fujiwara retomará su papel como Light Yagami para el filme. El anuncio se acompañaba de un nuevo anuncio.
La película se estrenará el 29 de octubre en cines japoneses.
